It’s time to take control of your destiny and create your happily ever after.

You feel lonely, you want to be understood, and yearn to be seen the way you used to.

You are ready to invite love and peace back into your home and your life.

You want to eliminate unhealthy patterns in your relationships and are ready to tackle this with or without a partner.

If you’re ready to get started and you’ve been looking for a therapist in Miami, FL, or throughout Florida, Virginia or California.

YOU’RE IN THE RIGHT PLACE.

What it’s like to work with me

I work with couples and individuals to learn new ways to communicate and to break unhealthy patterns in their relationships. Therapy with me is focused on teaching new skills and examining your own world views, bias, and assumptions that may be causing you to react negatively to your partner or former partners. I also work with individuals to build confidence in themselves and learn to love and accept themselves so that they can be comfortable with who they are and in turn attract others who will value  and love them, and repel those who won’t.

As your therapist, I want you to find love and peace within your relationships. I am here to help you through the hard and scary parts where you can become vulnerable with yourself and with your partner.

If you have ever learned a second language, I’m sure you’ve had times when what you intended to say and what you actually said didn’t match. Sometimes in relationships the same thing happens our intended message and the received message might as well have been in a different language and can result in hurt feelings, frustrations or resentment due to a translation error.

I can help to teach you ways to speak so your partner will listen, and listen in ways that you will understand your partner. I know that mastering this skill is transformational, and even when you don’t agree (which will still happen) you’ll be better equipped to tackle what life throws at you with grace and understanding.

I get it, I’ve been there. Relationships aren’t easy it’s hard enough to learn to love yourself much less bring someone else in the picture. While It isn't easy I promise you it is worth it.

What makes me uniquely equipped to help you,  you may ask?

Well, I have lived on 3 continents, I have degrees in Cross-Cultural Studies, Psychology and Biblical Studies and am in my own cross-cultural, interracial marriage.  I use a combination of my lived experience and formal training (Gottman method, Attachment theory, and hundreds of books on relationships) to help you to navigate through the hard stuff and come out stronger, and more connected to yourself and to your partner.

Clients describe me as someone who…….

helped them save their relationship.

helped them transform their lives and feel more confident.

makes everyone feel heard, without judgment or taking sides.

helps them come to new realizations within themselves and in their relationships.
